(BIO)

jendrik schröder is a director and photographer based in berlin. he studied communications at the university of the arts berlin, film studies in stockholm, photography at ostkreuzschule berlin, and holds a master’s degree in intercultural philosophy and arts. inspired by post-humanism and phenomenology practices, while driven by ecologic urgency, his work aims to challenge cartesian rationalism and anthropocentrism. his work ranges from ecofashion editorials to music videos, and from stylized advertisements to visual arts and essay-documentaries.

in 2022, he co-founded the creative studio offshoot*berlin. currently, jendrik is working on his essay documentary WHAT IS A PINE TREE.
